Description:    The Wheelmen are going to Italy. The dates are Aug
27-Sept 18. The trip includes a bus and bike trailer, and the hotels will include breakfast and dinner. We will stay in each town 3-5 nights, and ride the area. There is no guide but I will furnish cue sheets, route maps and GPS routes.
The tentative towns are, Como, Bormio, Selva Val Gardena, Garda and then Siena. We’ll be flying in and out of Milan. Beautiful Como Lake has some varied climbs along with some easier relaxing rides. The terrain of Bormio, Selva Val Gardena is sure to please with feather in your cap accomplishments and bragging rights for climbs such as the Stelvio. After that it starts to mellow down to milder territory, and in lastly in Siena, it should be more rolling hills. The cost will probably be about $5,000 for everything. Airfare $1300, bike shipping $400, and the bus/hotel portion. I don’t have the hotel prices yet but I’m guessing about $3,100-3,300.
