Description: Both routes regroup and refuel at Never Better Coffee Company in Newcastle (mile 25). We head out on Fair Oaks Blvd and reach Barton by way of Old Auburn Rd and E Roseville Pkwy. Heading east on Val Verde and then Taylor Rd, we reach Newcastle. After regrouping and refueling, it's up Indian Hill (long route) or down Newcastle Rd (short route). The long route turns left on Auburn Folsom and then right on Maidu Drive before taking a twisty route that eventually connects with Auburn Folsom. Thw short route connects to Auburn Folsom at King Rd. Both get back to Gold River through Orangevale.
