This is a repost of the last week's route, which was rained out. The long route is 35 miles with 1950' of climbing. Coffee and snacks can be purchased at Newcastle Produce on Cypress St in Newcastle. Return back down Newcastle Rd to Powerhouse, Rattlesnake, Rock Springs and Dick Cook. The short route is 27 miles with 27 miles with 1300' of climbing. Coffee at Newcastle Produce. Both routes begin and end in front of the bathrooms at Granite Bay Community Park, located on the corner of Douglas Blvd and Barton Rd in Granite Bay. 8:30 socialization, 8:45 sign in, 9:00 pedals down. RAIN CANCELS! In the event of cancellation, a notice will be sent out by 8:00 Saturday morning. I hope to see many of you there.

PS. Saturday is not only the last day of the month but the last day of the year to record Wheelmen miles for 2024, so we would appreciate it if you would please promptly report your miles. Some of you have asked "Who cares?" Well, the club cares. Recording member mileage is one of the ways that the club is able to monitor how we are doing. We know how many members we have. By recording members' rides, we know how many members actually ride with the club, how frequently (on average) our members ride, how many club miles are recorded, how our ride mileage compares with past years, and more.
