Ride With GPS: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/37539323 Description: On this flat route, we regroup and refuel at Shorty’s near Clarksburg (mile 16.4) before returning to Sacramento. To begin, we take the bike trail through Old Sacramento. We cross the Tower Bridge, get on the River Walk Trail in West Sacramento, and take the Village Parkway to Gregory Ave. From the South River Rd, we take Babel Slough Rd to Jefferson Blvd. That takes us to Shorty’s. Leaving Shorty’s, we pass through Clarksburg, travel on the west side and then the east side of the Sacramento River, using bike trails where we can, and then back to Discovery through Old Sacramento. Pace: 14 to 17 mph.
