They now have a $100.00 non-refundable deposit that is in addition to the room rate. When booking, tell them that you are with the Sacramento Wheelmen and it will be waived. If you book online, call and inform them you are with the Sacramento Wheelmen to get the waiver.

Please note: Parking is free if you book direct by calling Hotel Solares or use their website. Otherwise, it is $10 per day.

The after ride social will be in front of room 117, located by the patio and pool. There will be soft drinks, water, beer, wine and snacks available. A $10 per person donation to the host would be appreciated to help cover the cost.

An optional way to Santa Cruz besides driving is to take the Amtrak Capital Corridor train to San Jose then ride your bike to Santa Cruz. You will need to arrange with someone to take your bags.
