There are three options the first day, but all start at Amtrak Sacramento Tuesday morning: 1) Traditional: ferry to San Francisco from Jack London Square and ride down Highway 1 to Pigeon Point Lighthouse; ride to Capitola on Wednesday. 2) Santa Clara to Pigeon Point: ride to Saratoga and up Highway 9 to Summit road and then to Pigeon Point Lighthouse. 3) Santa Clara to Capitola: ride to Saratoga and up Highway 9, but continue to Capitola. (1-800-543-5221) Please call by Nov 10 and tell them that you are with the Sacramento Wheelman.  ALL RIDES WILL LEAVE FROM THE MOTEL PARKING LOT, 10:00 AM on Tuesday and 9:00 AM Wednesday and Thursday. Tuesday we will ride up to Volcano, Wednesday to West Point and Thursday out to Buena Vista. Come up for all three days or just one day. Please call me if you plan on driving up for one or two days and NOT staying in Jackson. Mileage is about 40-50 miles per day.
