back | Columbia home

A few days after the zodiac, John Hockenbury flew back to Columbia from his home in Elk Grove, a short 30-minute flight, to join Geno for another exploratory ride.

They did a 36-mile loop ride starting in Groveland. It was another mountain goat ride with over 4300' of climbing in beautiful oak and pine forest terrain with views of Mt. Dana in Yosemite National Park and other high Sierra peaks.
