Sacramento Wheelmen Annual Awards Banquet FRIDAY, JANUARY 29, 2010 – 6:00 pm New Location: Hilton Sacramento Arden West, 2200 Harvard Street, Sacramento, CA 95815 Join your fellow members for the gala social event of the year – a great evening with your club riding friends. No Host Bar - 6:00 pm Mileage Photos - 6:00 pm Dinner - 7:30 pm Presentations The early bird reservations for the Banquet of $30.00 is due by December 15th. Reservations after the 15th are $35 each. Advance pre-paid reservations only. Reservations close December 31, 2009. Must be a member or a guest of a member to attend. If you are not attending the Banquet and eligible for a Mileage T-shirt (minimum 500 club miles) please return the Banquet form with your size preference. E-mail Mary McPoil Reservation Form in printable PDF format Sacramento Wheelmen Annual Photo Contest The Rules: Must be taken between 1 Dec 2008 and 30 Nov 2009. Must have bicycle involved in the photo such as wheel, shadow, and bicycle or be pictures of Wheelmen Zodiacs or Wheelmen rides. We are accepting new categories. (See categories below). Send admissions by December 10, 2009 or submit at every general meeting. There will be a box at every general meeting for you to submit your photos. Color and black/ white Individuals may enter as many photos as they would like into the contest, but each photo may only be entered into one of the following categories: Bicycling Action Bicycling Still Bicycling Landscape Bicycling Lifestyles (Zodiacs and Wheelmen rides). Bicycling Creative Digital Entries will be evaluated based on appeal, content and photographic skill. The decision of the judges is final. SUBMISSION DETAILS: The Entry Deadline is December 10th. Photos will be displayed at the banquet 2010. Please pick up your entries after the banquet. Submit 8 x 10 photos mounted on white poster board with at least one inch of the poster board surrounding the photo so we can handle the entries without putting fingerprints on the photos. Do not write on the front. On the back of the poster board write your name, phone number and category for the photo. Submit to Marilyn Floyd, email mfloyd286@... for submission. Care will be taken with regard to handling and protecting entries, however, Wheelmen Bicycle Club will not be held liable for damage or loss. PRIZES: Ribbon awards for top three places in each category and two Honorable mentions will also be awarded in each category.
